Blackjack Billy Album Release Date

He ducked into a church one Sunday, to get out of the rain.
He sat down in the very last row in time to hear the preacher say
Before we bow our heads let me leave you with this thought
Do one good turn for someone... 'cuz one can be a lot
Just one sun lights the sky, just one moon turns the tide.
A man can change the world with just one thought.
One promise made can last forever
Just one rock can bend a river
One god up in heaven is all we've got
But sometimes one can be a lot
You could say he was a drinking man, but that's putting it polite
Drank away his heart and soul, his daughter and his wife
Lord knows he may die trying to get back what he's lost
He's been sober one year now... and one can be a lot.
Just one sun lights the sky, just one moon turns the tide.
A man can change the world with just one thought.
One promise made can last forever
Just one rock can bend a river
One god up in heaven is all we've got
But sometimes one can be a lot
Standing on your front porch, trying to find my nerve
I'm about to ask for what I know I don't deserve
Rehearsing every word with all the faith I've got
I hope you give one more chance... 'cuz one can be a lot
Just one sun lights the sky, just one moon turns the tide.
A man can change the world with just one thought.
One promise made can last forever
Just one rock can bend a river
One god up in heaven is all we've got
But sometimes one can be a lot
Sometimes... One can be a lot
